The Disappearance of Jasmine Robinson – Archer, Florida (2019)
Jasmine was born on February 6, 1996, and spent her entire life in the small, close-knit town of Archer. She was raised by her grandmother, Miss Rosa, alongside her older sister and several cousins. She had a sweet spirit, a strong sense of family, and a love for singing in the church choir. Friends and relatives say she was kind, funny, and deeply connected to the people around her.
She was seven months pregnant with a baby girl she had already named Jamillia — she wanted her daughter’s name to start with a “J,” just like hers.
In the final days before she disappeared, Jasmine seemed increasingly anxious. She told her sister that the man believed to be the father of her child — a 56-year-old man had been calling her at work, pressuring her to end the pregnancy. Jasmine refused. She was excited to be a mother and had already picked out a name and future for her baby.
On February 18, 2019, Jasmine worked her usual evening shift and was picked up by her grandmother. She appeared emotional, even tearful, and said only that “something was happening.”
That night, she spoke with her aunt and confirmed a prenatal appointment for the next morning and, said she planned to go to bed soon.
By morning, Jasmine was gone. Her family discovered her room empty, her belongings untouched , except for her phone. She missed a prenatal appointment that day, and there’s been no sign of her since.
On February 20, Jasmine was officially reported missing. Her family feared foul play from the beginning.
no one has ever been arrested or charged in connection with Jasmine’s disappearance.
Jasmine was also scheduled to appear in court later that month for a minor charge, a sign that she wasn’t running from anything. She was showing up to work, preparing for her baby, and making plans for the future.
Her case remains unsolved. A young woman with a growing belly, full of love for a child she hadn’t even met yet , gone without a trace. And more than five years later, there are still no answers.
At Lavender Files, we believe Jasmine Robinson’s story deserves to be seen, shared, and remembered. She was more than a missing person , she was a daughter, a sister, a soon-to-be mother, and someone trying to move forward, even through difficult circumstances.
